Fees & Rebates

You do not need a referral to see a Clinical Psychologist, however rebates are available if you are referred by your GP or Psychiatrist with a Mental health care plan.

Medicare Rebate:

To access Psychological Services under the Medicare Rebated Scheme you will need a referral from your GP or Psychiatrist. If you are deemed eligible for this services (by your GP) you are currently entitled to up to 20 Psychological Sessions per calendar year.  This will enable you to receive a rebate from you service fee.

Private Health Rebates:

You are welcome to access Psychological Services without a Doctors referral.  You may be entitled to a rebate from your Private Health Fund.  This will depend on your private health cover. Please check with your fund to see if and what you are covered for.
